I'm awaking on my first Sunday back in Chiang Mai. My 3 days here, so far, have been beautiful. In so many ways this place seems so natural. But it has not been without it's many adjustments. There have been a few ways that culture shock is hitting me harder than before because I think that I should know these things. There are just so many little things that were second nature to me when I left, and know I realize I have to struggle through learning them all over again.
But God is SO good! I've been slowly remembering the little phrases that I forgot from last time. I've been meeting some of my students and loving them! I've been finding some awesome cheep places to eat! Etc.
I think I'm getting over jet lag. Last night I actually stayed up till after 11 and slept till 8 this morning. That has been very unusual so far.
